We have passed the season, the weather is changing and we are taking spring clothes out of the closet. The boots that have accompanied you all winter are no longer an option, but the time has not yet come to take out the sandals. And you ask yourself: what shoes do I wear in the meantime? Here we leave you several suggestions with which you will be fashionable this spring/summer season, whatever your style.
Flat shoe
If you are one of those who reserve high-heeled shoes for big occasions, we suggest that you get ballerinas of all colors (also called flats). In leather or canvas, plain, printed, or two-tone, the ballerinas continue to make a wonderful wardrobe staple.
If you need something serious to go to the office, the men’s air shoes, with buckle closure or with laces, are also a good option. Flat and very formal, they will not clash with your suits.
For days without commitments, there are casual-style sports shoes, perfect to complement your seasonal outfits. Conceived as a fashion accessory, these sneakers will not be used for sports but they will give your look a special touch. They are also the ideal solution for whopping; they look perfect with socks.
Heeled shoes
For those who cannot live if they are not on a heel, peep toes are still in fashion this season. They are an ideal complement to going to work or going out at night with a sophisticated touch.
The wedges have not abandoned us either. They are already a classic in the hot season, although for the first days of spring, which tend to be colder, it is advisable to avoid esparto grass and cork, which are more informal and stockings are not allowed.
In addition to peep toes and wedges, court shoes serve as a wardrobe staple. There are classic ones, in smooth leather, and multiple more modern versions such as with carvings, buckles, and a two-tone or moccasin look.
Rain shoes
In spring the days are longer and the temperature rises, but the weather is not always good. For a stormy spring day, a good alternative is ankle boots. They protect the foot, and stockings and socks are their perfect complement. You will find them flat and heeled, elegant and informal. All styles have a tailored bootie.
And if the rain is getting worse and you don’t want to take any risks, rubber boots, fun and colorful accessories for your sports outfits.
Clogs
They began to appear last spring and this year the clogs continue to have their space. Even though they are more appropriate for when the heat begins due to their informal nature and because they are not a shoe to wear with socks, nothing prevents us from daring with a pair of clogs as an alternative to sandals when summer approaches.
